kiskadee is a trailblazing electronic artist who transforms everyday sounds into deeply emotive, cinematic soundscapes. Drawing on the nautical landscapes of his island upbringing, kiskadee creates music that blends organic and electronic textures. Launching his project during lockdown in 2020, he began by reimagining voice notes from friends and family into bittersweet beats, crafting a sound rooted in connection and introspection.

Since the release of his debut EP, Home (2021), kiskadee has established himself as one of London’s most promising new talents. Hailed by Clash as a “little-known tour de force” and featured in Complex, his work has garnered widespread support from BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1, and BBC 6 Music. In 2023, he was invited to contribute to BBC 6 Music’s Lose Yourself With… series, highlighting his reputation for crafting immersive and introspective mixes.

kiskadee’s live performances have become a cornerstone of his artistry. In 2024, he marked the release of his debut album, A Room to Breathe, with a headline show at NT’s Loft. That same year, he performed at Glastonbury, presenting both an immersive ambient set on the Tree Stage (Woodsies) alongside Jasmin Harsono and a high-energy DJ set on the Hive Stage. His live journey continued with captivating performances at festivals like Green Man, Wilderness, Medicine, and Secret Garden Party, as well as supporting Chris Luno at his sold out show in London.

Collaboration is central to kiskadee’s creative process. Over the years, he has worked with a range of talented artists, including Benjamin Francis Leftwich, MIA, Jessie Ware; and producers such as Andrew Wyatt, Kid Harpoon and Stint. These collaborations have enriched his music, bringing diverse perspectives and textures to his sonic palette.

A Room to Breathe (2024) represents the culmination of years of experimentation and exploration. Developed during an inspirational trip to Iceland, the album weaves the stark beauty of natural landscapes into his signature soundscapes. Its release solidified kiskadee’s reputation as a leading voice in emotive electronic music, earning critical acclaim and drawing in audiences worldwide.
